The Foundation is a charitable organization and as such, contributions may be deductible for federal income tax purposes. Members are assessed $1.00 to fund the Foundation. Additional funding has come from individuals in the form of grants and scholarships, memorials, and contributions from businesses and individuals. Local associations may establish funds to recognize individual or group projects or for scholarships to enhance public education in North Dakota. The funds will be managed by the Foundation under a contract with the local association.
PR Grant (NDEA Sponsored Grant)
A $500 grant for local associations to enhance public relations in their community.
Awarded by NDEA ~ Deadline -- March 1.

The purpose of the NDEA Foundation is to promote educational excellence in North Dakotas public schools. The Foundations goal is to aid public school staff members and their students in achieving greater educational success.
