As Professionals you play a vital role in shaping and influencing policies affecting your practice and expertise.  Every decision made affecting classrooms and public schools is at some level a political decision.  This section of the site aims to provide you with information and tools to effectively advocate for your professional and economic well-being.

Below on this page in the downloads section you can find the 2009 NDEA Legislative Agenda.  This agenda will be updated at the 2010 NDEA RA.  The Legislative Agenda drives every advocacy and political decision the association makes from who to recommend to what issues and bills to support or oppose.

Also you will find the Election talking points.  This short 3 phrase triangle summarizes the highlights of the agenda and can be useful for you in talking about why we recommend the candidates we recommend.
